When using material from outside sources, citations have to be added in order to avoid plagiarism. The example below is a works cited page from my significant writing project, it includes all the sources that I used to strengthen my argument against the implementation of lobster trap gear regulations. This course has helped my ability to use in-text citations, as well as creating a works citied page without the use of websites like BibMe or EasyBib. In the past creating citations was never my strong suit, but I feel like I have improved significantly in my ability to do so since the beginning of this semester. Although I am still working on my paraphrasing, I can still effectively use in-text citations to give credit to other people’s words and ideas.
